How much does this cost to play?
NOTHING! Zero, zip, nada, 0 dollars, empty set, nil, $0.00. Its FREE to play.
What is OtherScreen?
OtherScreen makes watching TV more fun. We do that by ‘pushing’ content to your phone, tablet or laptop that makes the event more engaging.
Sometimes we push predictions (also known as props), sometimes we ask trivia questions. You answer using your device and win by getting the most points. What do you win? Honor and glory for sure. Maybe a t-shirt or a wristband, too. You never know.
Do I have to download software?
Nope. All you need is a laptop or tablet with Chrome, Safari, Firefox or IE9 on it. You can use other browsers too, but the gameplay functions much better on one of the other big four browsers.
How do I play, where can I see my score, how can I see where I rank, and what’s that box on the right for?
Whoa, whoa, whoa. Slow down now. All the basics are explained in our “How to Use OtherScreen” video, which can be watched on our Learn More page.
Can anyone play? Can I invite friends?
Yep! All you need is a Facebook account or a valid email address. Tell your friends to checkout OtherScreen.com to have them start their free accounts today.
Do I need to do anything special with my TV?
No, just tune to any event we’re covering and you’re good to go. Questions will start turning up before you know it.
Can I use my phone to play? Do you have an iPhone or Android app?
Yes, you can use your phone to play. The gameplay works great, but the chat still needs some work. This should all be fixed with our upcoming iPhone app that should be unveiled very soon. Want to be notified when it’s ready? Send us an email at mike@otherscreen.com. We’ll do an Android app too, but that’s a little further off in the future.
I have an account, why can't I log-in?
Everyone has multiple email accounts nowadays and it’s easy to forget which one you may have signed up with. Try to log in using a different email account first. If it still doesn’t work, reset your password.
Hey, it won't let me Sign up. Now what?

Do I have to watch the entire show?
Not at all. We split up the gameplay into sprints so players still get the opportunity to try and win a sprint even if they showed up halfway through the event. Of course, if you want to win the entire game, it’s best if you stay the entire time.
